Cloud 9 is a practice management tool that allows users to seamlessly track patients and their progress. We are able to use this cloud based product from any of our locations, as well as from the comfort of home when needed. It is modern and easily one of the most approachable software products I have ever used.

I was having a difficult time creating letters and having the questionnaire port over the correct exam results. The IT team was able to help walk me through adjusting what needed to be done. I was able to chat with them via their online portal.

I have spoken to several support members along the way, and everyone is super helpful and exited to find a solution. Everyone is courtesy and patient. I had a problem that I could not figure out on my own and just with my description, I was given clear step by step instructions to get it solved!

It took quites sometime for the problem to get resolved. I know that myself and other users were facing the same issue. Although it was frustrating on my end, I know that the team was working on it and eventually it was resolved!
Every once in a while my letters get locked up (always an issue on my end) and I love that I can just call up and say: "Help! My letters are locked" Or better yet, the chat feature is a game changer to me for support. I can't always call when I'm with patients, but I CAN text!! And its so easy to get my issue resolved even while I'm still working with the patient and Doc!

Cloud 9 Software is what we use for our patient database. We use it for charting, financials, scheduling, etc. It's super simple to check patients in and schedule appointments with just a click. Financial contracts are simple to enter as well, and you can print ledgers and make corrections and adjustments in just a few simple steps. We have 3 offices, and this cloud based orthodontic software is amazing. We switched from OrthoTrac, and we have been happy from the amazing week of training through all the changes and help available at our fingertips!

Excellent for orthodontic practices. We have 3 locations, and this software works well for us! We are able to access patient info quickly and simultaneously no matter which location we are at. The support staff is just a click away online. We switched from OrthoTrac and love the Cloud based software with no nightly back ups and ease of using the software from checking in with just a click to scheduling in just one easy step! Chris and the team were amazing in getting us changed over, and the support team is always available for any questions along the way!

We like the speed of Cloud 9 and ability to access it at all 3 locations simultaneously. We had OrthoTrac previously, and we love the Cloud base system with no nightly back ups. This software is so user friendly, and the Cloud 9 training and support teams are nothing short of amazing! Everything you do is saved immediately, and is done in a few easy steps!

Cloud 9 Software is used as our orthodontic practice management software. As a cloud-based program, it makes incorporating all three of our offices a snap. Any one of our offices can manage patient accounts or appointments from another office, or from their home. Cloud 9 integrates with the most popular credit card processors and makes auto payment set up a breeze, even if you wish to use a non-integrated vendor. Because it is a web-based program, there are no networking snags or server issues, and you can run Cloud 9 on direct-connected or Wi-Fi connections to the internet. Even printers and scanners can be accessed across all offices with little IT knowledge. This software is perfect for people who expect a high-tech solution for the orthodontic practice, with little need for high-cost IT.
  • Customer Service rarely has any hold time, which is seriously important.
  • Cloud 9 cloud-based software makes rescheduling from home, or accessing patient records to triage emergencies a must-have in 2021.
  • All printers and scanners can be easily accessed from any computer.
  • Without networking/servers any computer can be easily replaced without paying an IT to set it up.
  • Tablet-Friendly.
  • Some label printing functions are not user-friendly.
  • Sending text reminders without need for carrier.

Cloud 9 is well-suited for offices with multiple locations, with decent internet service, or do-it-yourself IT Doctors. The email function has saved a TON on postage, which is great. Cloud 9 would not work well in areas with sketchy internet service, and we found that the all-in digital charting required a lot of scanning of paper charts in advance. All offices will have to do that at some time or the other, but it will require some dedicated teamwork to get through.

  • Significant decrease in stationary supplies (charts, envelopes, etc.).
  • With Zoom Consults, image presentations are very easy remotely, making it easier for patients to start sooner.
The non-server version of Ortho2 we were already using would have cost a significant amount to merge our three separate office databases. Cloud 9 already had parameters set to be able to do this. All of our documents and images transferred over with just minor issues- like where would our online forms go that Cloud 9 did not have an automatic home for. Cloud 9, on the other hand, does not have nifty image layout options, their letter editor is a cranky non-Word program I do not like, and creating custom reports is definitely easier in Ortho2.

Our whole Orthodontic office uses Cloud 9. We switched about a year ago and have never looked back! Our old program was so slow, Cloud 9 has been so fast and easy to understand. Everyone working with the company is super helpful when and if we have any issues. Cloud 9 has helped us move faster as an office.

  • Recently we have had a few hiccups with our internet, therefore causing Cloud 9 to be slow.
For example, with the pandemic going on, you can access cloud 9 from your desktop at home. You can do treatment notes from the comfort of your own home! As long as you are connected to Wi-Fi, you can access Cloud 9. Us being able to access treatment notes has helped us move faster as an office. We are able to prepare for the week on the weekends.

Well suited for dental and orthodontic cooperations/offices. I would say it’s not appropriate or well suited for other business types since there are no programs made for them. It has specific tooth charts for all different tastes, depending on which system you like to use. Again, the fact that it is cloud based makes it so easy to access and use!
  • We could access everything from home during Covid shutdowns since it’s cloud based.
  • Negative would be more time editing photos & more clicks to get to things.
  • It has also made billing and insurance claims easier.
Cloud 9 is a million times better than OrthoTrac. The number one being that it is soooo much faster! Cloud-based so you can use it anywhere. During the Covid shutdown, we wouldn’t have been able to see any patient information if we would still have our old system unless somebody was physically in the office so this has made the hard times a little easier from a business standpoint.
